Call for proposals for the use of the IFERC-CSC computer

The International Fusion Energy Research Centre (IFERC) project has been started on 1st July 2007. The Computational Simulation Centre (CSC) is one of three IFERC sub projects. The mission of IFERC-CSC is to exploit large-scale and high performance fusion simulations. For performing such mission, a supercomputer with a peak performance of 1.52 PF (1.237 PF in Linpack) was installed at the IFERC site at Rokkasho, Japan on 1st January 2012. After the lighthouse projects and test runs, the normal operation started on 9th April 2012 and will run until 31st December 2016.
