Abstract of KSOL2D-2 Project

The aim of the proposed project is to develop a highly scalable massively parallel Poisson solver for realistic 2D SOL (Scrape-Off Layer) geometry. The solver should be applicable for the Cartesian grid with 107 and more cells, and allow reduction of calculation time below 10-1 sec. The solver will be implemented into the PIC/MC code BIT2.
