Abstract of KSOL2D-3 Project

The aim of the proposed project is to develop a highly scalable massively parallel Poisson solver for realistic 2D SOL geometry. The solver should be applicable for a Cartesian grid with 107 and more cells, and should allow a reduction of the calculation time below 10-1 sec. The solver will be implemented into the PIC/MC code BIT2.
