Abstract of CINCOMP Project

The project is explicitly aiming at providing support for the scientists of EUROfusion who will use the successor machine of HELIOS at CINECA. In addition to high scalability algorithms efforts, notably for MPI / OpenMP / mixed paradigms, it will also address I/O performance for computing and post-processing. A further activity will be to provide advanced help on the use of accelerator based systems consisting of Intel Xeon Phi and/or GPUs. In particular support for porting and tuning European codes is foreseen.
